The Ego

 The Ego

The Ego

Once upon a time there lived a sculptor. He used to make very nice and beautiful idols. Once the moneylender of that village invited him to his house and gave him the job of making an exact idol of him. The sculptor was not that famous, but the moneylender somehow understood, so he gave him the job. A few days later the sculptor came up with an exact idol that looked like a moneylender. The lender himself was so surprised to see the idol that he could hardly believe his eyes. Patala paid him a lot of money. The moneylender was acquainted with the king's head. He showed the idol to the chief. Pradhanji started chatting with Murthy. Through Pradhan the sculptor reached the king. Made an idol of himself and paid a lot of money. He became a very special favorite of the king and gradually became rich. What happens when ordinary wealth comes, is the same. The sculptor became arrogant, arrogant. Belittled others.

Once he came to know that a great astrologer had come to his kingdom. His life is going on happily, but he is tempted by what the future holds. He invited the astrologer to his house. and asked the future. The astrologer looked at the sculptor's hand and predicted that you will die in 21 days. The sculptor started laughing loudly. He threw the astrologer out of the house saying that he and astrology are for fooling people.

But, the sculptor was a little scared. I started thinking that something should be done. He decided something in his mind and started working. Working day and night, he created 9 idols that looked exactly like him. He thought that if Yamaraj comes to judge him, he will not be able to recognize him in all this and will be deceived. We are skilled enough to trick Yama by making perfect idols and he has to return the same. The previous day, I looked at all the idols one last time and made 100% sure.

Exactly on the 21st day, the sculptor got stuck with those 9 idols. After some time Yamaraj actually came. Yamaraj was also really confused. Now who is the real sculptor? If we take someone else by mistake, we will incur sin. Yamaraj next had a big question. He thought a lot. He realized that the idolaters had created an embarrassment ahead of him by making idols that looked like him. It would be better if the real idolater could be awakened by some trick. He thought for a while. He decided to take advantage of the sculptor's arrogance.

Speaking to his Reda, he addressed the sculptor and said, "Oh, this sculptor is very clever and a great artist. What beautiful statues he has made of himself. Wow, very nice. But there is a little mistake in that statue over there. He shouldn't have done it."

As soon as Yama said this, the idolater immediately got up and replied that it was not possible. I and mistake impossible.

Yamaraj smiled heartily and said to the real idolater, I knew your ego would not let you rest. So I said that deliberately. My trick worked. Come with me now. And Yamaraj took him.

Ego brings nearer the end of man. Be it anything.
