Parable - Soil under the feet
If we accidentally touch an older person's foot, we immediately apologize to that person. falls at his feet. right? The soil under our feet and the head is to be applied to…. Who will give the soil, who will take the sin on the head? No, but now I am going to tell the story, that is the story of black devotees. What happened once! Naradamuni rode to Dwarka to meet Lord Krishna. That's when he heard the news from the gatekeepers that Lord Krishna has not come to the court today because he is ill.
what Shri Krishna and sick? Telling them what happened, Narada rode straight to Lord Krishna's bedroom. What if they went there and saw Krishna sleeping on the dais. Queens surrounded by sad-suffering postures, servants and slaves stood with anxious faces. "Oh, what happened to Krishna?" Narada inquired as he entered. "Ah, the gods have had a headache since this morning." One informed. "Oh, so there's no solution to that?" Narada carefully asked… “Sage! Hey, all measures taken. Medicines-dosage given.
Chandnadic coating applied; But hey, the head doesn't stop hurting.' Then Devani changed his mind. But Narada saw his sad-suffering posture and asked, “God, why is your head hurting so much?” “Yes, devotee Narada, your head is hurting so much. Many measures have been taken, but none of them have yielded results.” Shri Krishna said with a sad expression. “Oh, but God – there must be some solution to this!” Narada asked. “There is… a panacea for that. But who will do it? Because….” “God, first tell me what is the solution.”
Then God said, “Narada! What is it, if one of my devotees gives me the soil from under his feet and applies that soil on my head, this terrible headache will stop in a few moments.” Heard that solution though…. Everyone, including Narada, became very worried, because who would allow the soil under their feet and that too to be applied to the head of God? Who will own that sin? And if this is the only remedy, and if it is not done, how will God's aching head be stopped? Then Naradamuni took the Lord's permission and said, "Wait Lord, I will now go and bring earth for the feet of the devotee."
Thus Narada's ride came out. He searched for both heaven and hell. He met many Krishna devotees there. But they did not find a single devotee there who happily accepted that sin by placing the soil under his feet on God's head; did not meet Finally Narada came to Prithviloka and started searching if he met any such devotee. They got tired walking everywhere, but did not find any devotee as they wanted.
He remembered that. He immediately decided to go to Mathura-Vrindavan. That 'Narayan' of Narada... Narayan....' But immediately many gopgopikas came running there leaving their work in half. Saluting Narada with devotion, he asked, “Devarshi, how is Lord Krishna? Have you met them? Do they see us? Is everything good?” On this Naradamuni said, “What is the matter with him, the whole city of Dwarka is in great joy and happiness…. But….” "But what God!
Tell me, how is our Lord? Are they in good health? Then Narada said, “Gopis, what shall I say? For the last two days, Shri Krishna's head is aching. Prabhu is in a lot of trouble.' “Hey Muniraj, then is there no solution for it? Didn't medicine-water, quantity do anything?” They all asked impatiently. “How can that be? Remedied. Medicines given.
Quantities licked. Tried applying Chandanadik coating. But the headaches of the gods are not cured.” “Ah, so there is no solution?” “No solution, there is a solution. But no one is ready to take that solution. I have yet to meet any devotee who would do that.” “Why? Is that solution too difficult, impossible? Tell me, tell me Naradamuni, what is that remedy? Tell us what Mahadivya we have to do to please our God. We will do it. Won't say no, won't back down."
Then Naradamuni said, “The solution is really simple. Gods have said that if a devotee soaks the soil under his feet in water and applies it on his head, the headache will immediately stop.” “Ah, then what is the matter, why no devotee has given the soil under his feet? What's wrong with that?” “Hey dad, what are you doing? Which devotee will allow the soil under his feet to touch God's head and become the master of sin? Did that and what if tomorrow he has to go to hell?” Hearing those words of Narada, however, the gopas and gopikas of Vrindavan retreated.
He began to take a pinch of soil from under his feet and give it to Narada. Gradually, Narada's Anjala was filled with mud under the feet of the devotees. He immediately said to all of them, “Hey, what are you doing? Why did you partake of sin by allowing the soil under your feet to touch God's forehead? Why go to hell?” Then a gopi boldly said to Narada, “Sage, why should we go to heaven or hell; We will see that. You take this soil first.
Apply it to God's head. Make God feel good first…. And….” Narada asked, "And what….?" Then all the gopas and gopis said with great humility, "Naradamani, tell our god that if we go to hell today because we put the soil under our feet on the forehead of the god, then tell him that you come there to save us."
Narada accepted the gift given by the devotees and immediately came to Dwarkanagari. The soil under the feet of the devotees of Vrindavan was soaked in water and its coating was applied on Krishna's head, but within a few moments God's headache ran away! Then the delighted Shri Krishna asked Narada, “Devoted Narada, where did you meet the devotee who gives the soil under your feet? Have they given me a message?” I heard God speak that but…. God is repeatedly calling us 'Bhakta Narada, Bhakta Narada'.
We also consider ourselves as 'I am the best devotee of God'. yes right So why didn't I have the wisdom to give the soil under my feet to plant God's head? He started regretting this. At the same time, Narada was also told by the eloquent action of the gopgopikas that how loyal a devotee should be to God.
Meaning: Devotion to God should be undivided. A devotee should have a firm belief that my God will come even to hell to save me.
