Moral Story - The Golden Touch
Parents are always on the lookout for great moral stories for kids. However, we believe that kids learn the morals of stories even if they aren’t explicitly mentioned. When a story is well-written, the takeaway, or the moral of the story, is readily apparent. Such lessons get absorbed far more than if they are spelt out. Today we are going to read Moral Story - The Golden Touch .
Once there lived a greedy man in a small town. He was very rich, and he loved gold and all things fancy. But he loved his daughter more than anything. One day, he chanced upon a fairy. The fairy’s hair was caught in a few tree branches. He helped her out, but as his greediness took over, he realised that he had an opportunity to become richer by asking for a wish in return (by helping her out). The fairy granted him a wish. He said, “All that I touch should turn to gold.” And his wish was granted by the grateful fairy.
The greedy man rushed home to tell his wife and daughter about his wish, all the while touching stones and pebbles and watching them convert into gold. Once he got home, his daughter rushed to greet him. As soon as he bent down to scoop her up in his arms, she turned into a gold statue. He was devastated and started crying and trying to bring his daughter back to life. He realised his folly and spent the rest of his days searching for the fairy to take away his wish.
Moral of the Story :
Greed will always lead to downfall.

पालक नेहमी मुलांसाठी उत्तम नैतिक कथांच्या शोधात असतात. तथापि, आमचा असा विश्वास आहे की मुले कथांचे नैतिकता शिकतात जरी त्यांचा स्पष्टपणे उल्लेख केला नसला तरीही. जेव्हा एखादी कथा चांगली लिहिली जाते, तेव्हा टेकअवे किंवा कथेची नैतिकता सहज दिसून येते. असे धडे उच्चारले तर त्यापेक्षा कितीतरी पटीने जास्त आत्मसात होतात. आज आपण मॉरल स्टोरी - द गोल्डन टच वाचणार आहोत.
एकदा एका छोट्या गावात एक लोभी माणूस राहत होता. तो खूप श्रीमंत होता, आणि त्याला सोने आणि सर्व गोष्टी आवडत होत्या. पण त्याचे आपल्या मुलीवर कशाहूनही जास्त प्रेम होते. एके दिवशी त्याला परी भेटली. परीचे केस काही झाडांच्या फांद्यांत अडकले होते. त्याने तिला मदत केली, पण जसजसा त्याचा लोभीपणा वाढला, त्याला समजले की त्याच्या बदल्यात (तिची मदत करून) इच्छा मागून त्याला श्रीमंत होण्याची संधी आहे. परीने त्याची इच्छा पूर्ण केली. तो म्हणाला, "मी स्पर्श केलेल्या सर्व गोष्टी सोन्यात बदलल्या पाहिजेत." आणि त्याची इच्छा कृतज्ञ परीने मंजूर केली.
लोभी माणसाने आपल्या पत्नीला आणि मुलीला त्याची इच्छा सांगण्यासाठी घरी धाव घेतली, सर्व काही दगड आणि गारगोटींना स्पर्श करून त्यांचे सोन्यात रूपांतर पाहत होते. तो घरी आल्यावर त्याची मुलगी त्याच्या स्वागतासाठी धावली. तो तिला आपल्या मिठीत घेण्यासाठी खाली वाकताच ती सोन्याच्या पुतळ्यात बदलली. तो उद्ध्वस्त झाला आणि रडू लागला आणि आपल्या मुलीला पुन्हा जिवंत करण्याचा प्रयत्न करू लागला. त्याला त्याचा मूर्खपणा कळला आणि त्याने आपले उरलेले दिवस परीला शोधण्यात घालवले.
